Cryptyk Inc. (Nevada, USA) announced today the successful closing of its first angel investment capital raising round. The company has raised a total of US$200,000 from two angel investors, namely US based Cryptyk director Jennifer Peng and Australian tech investor Dr. David McIntosh. Jennifer will continue to act as a director on the board and represent all investor rights at board and shareholder meetings.
Cryptyk CEO Dr. Adam Weigold said today that “this angel round investment will be critical in funding the development of Cryptyk Cloud, an ultra-secure cloud storage product for large enterprise. In combination with internal funding from our committed team of founders we will now be able to outsource some software development to external contract developers to speed up things. Once Cryptyk Cloud is ready for beta testing by selected customers we will open our next capital raising round for at least $3 million of seed investment to fund full product roll-out”.
